Fortunately, we have not been blasted with spam on this blog. Probably just a matter of time. I set up this blog with moderating turned on so I could delete all “spam” comments without them ever being posted. Only the comments we approve get posted. That makes more work for us, but then again, we don’t have all that big an audience right now. If this blog ever does get lots of “outside” readers, our workload will probably increase. As will the spam posts.
These slimy, dirtball, bottom-feeding, scumbag types always seem to find new ways to ruin every good thing for their own selfish desires. Some of them even try to rationalize their behavior, but anyone with half a brain can see through their load of crap.

Now we just need to make sure that the organizations that maintain the bogs on their servers add this capability to their blog software.
